Our Mission

Achieve Miami unlocks potential and empowers students by offering a variety of transformative opportunities aimed at bridging educational gaps.

Achieve Elementary

Achieve Miami supports 1st–5th grade students in literacy, music, and social-emotional development through after-school and weekend programs.

Achieve Summer

A 6-week summer program offering project-based learning, leadership development, and meaningful enrichment and service opportunities.

Achieve
High School

High school students across Miami-Dade participate in service projects, leadership development, and college readiness support programs annually.

Teacher Accelerator Program

Creates pipelines to mobilize, train, and mentor new cohorts of educators to ensure every student has a qualified teacher.

What programs does Achieve Miami offer for students?

Achieve Miami provides a variety of year-round programs including Achieve SPARK for elementary literacy, Achieve Music, and the Achieve Scholars and Career Pathways programs for high school college and career readiness.

High schoolers can join the Achieve Club to earn service hours by volunteering as “Big Buddies” in our literacy and mentorship programs or by joining the Junior Advisory Board (JAB).

No, all of our programs, including Achieve Summer and our music and literacy initiatives, are entirely free of charge for students and families in Miami-Dade.

TAP offers non-education majors a clear path to teaching through a one-semester course, a paid summer internship, and support for Florida teacher certification and job placement.

You can support our 10 years of impact by making a tax-deductible donation, sponsoring an event like the Senior Send-Off, or donating tech devices like Chromebooks.

We partner with 11 public high schools and various Title I elementary schools across Miami-Dade, including locations in Homestead, Miami Central, and Miami Northwestern.
